Supplies: Computer, flash drive, LP, Mad Libs, timer, pen & paper, address form, classical music selections, presents for everyone

Agenda: No written agenda this time since we’re focusing on one task: your presentations. As always, we’ll explore pronunciation, American idioms and grammar as they come up.

9:10 Set up audio/video Explain day: Max 10/5 for each. After the presentations, we will correct scripts AND record them in perfect English. So we need to finish presentations by 11:00, and hopefully sooner.

I won’t interrupt to correct unless you ask me. Want you to have the chance to go straight thru the presentation. But I will give you two kinds of feedback after:

— After, tell you about some frequent mistakes

— Corrections to your paper script.

Give Ss stretch between presentations if possible.

Videotape beginning. Take notes on errors. Present. Try to do it from memory for now. Hand me your script right afterwards. Culmination; grammar awareness; communication.

I will add to each presentation the first few seconds of you talking (video I shot). I will add your voice. I will assemble all the pieces into one.

I’ll try to put them up one by one on YouTube but I’d like you to have a copy of the final production. I will mail, but who knows about mail.
